Pekka Palomäki joins the Jaguars as the team's second Head Coach. Hailing from Loviisa, Finland, Palomäki brings an impressive resume to the club. As a player, he spent ten seasons in the top Finnish league, the F-liiga, and three seasons in the top Swiss league, the NLA. During that time he played for the clubs Loviisan Tor, HNMYK, HIFK, and TPS in Finland; and in Switzerland he played for Tigers Langau.
Upon his retirement as a player, he entered the coaching profession with Loviisan Tor, serving for 2 seasons as the Men's F-Liiga Assistant Coach. After that he served as the Juniors Coaching Coordinator and U21 Head Coach for 7 seasons. For the past four seasons he has led the Men's Team (now in Suomiseries) as Head Coach.
He has volunteered in the United States previously as a youth camp coach in Dallas-Fort Worth, where he guided many young players from North Texas to play and train better.
