If you’re new to floorball, how do you learn? Join the Jaguars’ local players at a Fort Worth Jaguars Floorball Camp!
Jaguars camps are held locally in various places around the city and feature a mix of classroom instruction, drills, and scrimmage play. Generally lasting between 3-4 hours, a Jaguars camp teaches the basics of stick handling, including choosing and sizing a stick, shooting, passing, and dribbling with the ball. Basic concepts of offense and defense, as well as rules of the game, will be covered.
Goalies will be trained both with the field players and have separate instruction in the basic camp. They will learn positioning and movement, and also the basics of the goalkeepers rules and equipment.
Finally, the campers will get to play in a scrimmage game supervised and officiated by the clinicians. They will get to experience the game flow and ball movement, and will be coached by the clinicians.
Your clinicians are Jaguars players and staff, who have been involved with floorball for many years. We also partner with the NAFL’s title sponsor, Floorball Planet, to provide clinicians, equipment, and facilities for camps.
Want a private camp? Contact the Jaguars’ front office for costs and availability. We can handle up to 30 campers at your facility or ours.
